Woodard, born on January 30, 1945, the son of Claude G Woodard and Eula Parker Woodard, passed away March 28, 2024, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by both parents. Jim grew up in Waynesville, North Carolina, graduating from Waynesville Township High School in 1963. He then attended Western Carolina University, graduating in 1967.
