Pen kept staring awkwardly at Tree. Tree was busy discussing with the rest of the Death PACT team how to win the challenge since he was the brightest member in the group and always had amazing ideas. Daydreaming about Tree, Pen did not pay much attention to anything at all. As he stared at him, he sighed happily. Obviously, he looked away if Tree looked at him, not wanting to be caught staring. Despite the fact that Pen always wanted to tell him he liked him, he was too scared. What if Tree didn't feel the same way?

"Ok, so everyone understood that?" Pen heard Trees' Australian accent and looked up. All the people nodded except Blackhole since he doesn't have a body. However, he said "Yes" to let everyone know. Perfect!" Tree exclaimed with two thumbs up. "Hopefully the next challenge isn't too difficult. And always remember, work together!"
Remote said with her usual robotic voice, "As long as we concentrate, we'll win!" "Exactly! You come up with the greatest strategies Tree!" Pen complimented him. A smile spread across Tree's face as he said, "Oh... uh... thanks Pen!" Pen thought he saw Tree blushed a bit, did he liked Pen?
So, Blackhole suggested, "Should someone go talk to Four about the next challenge?" "I'll go!" Pen exclaimed enthusiastically. "Ya sure Pen?" Tree asked. Pen nodded quickly. "Alrighty then, go Pen!" Tree said then Pen ran off to go find Four. A relaxed Pie said, "Wow... He seems really enthusiastic about telling Four."
"Yea.. Wonder what's that all about?" Pillow scratched her head.

Pen breathed out a sigh of relief. He was trying to get away from Tree because he kept getting distracted by him and did not want the others to find out about his crush. Although it was quite foggy, he spotted Four amid the mist. As he was discussing the challenge with X, Pen approached him.
"Four!" Pen shouted, hoping he would be heard. A slow turn of the head by Four led him to see Pen. "Ben! What do you need?" Four addressed him by his actual name."When will the next challenge be announced? We have been waiting a while so I'm wonder-" Four interrupted Pen. "Oh, the next challenge starts in a couple of hours! We're just getting ready!" Four exclaimed. "Oh, ok. Cool! Well, I wouldn't want to bother you two soo... I should get going.." Pen hurriedly ran off.

It occurred to Tree that Pen might tend to be annoying occasionally, but he had always seemed easy-going and Tree had grown fond of him. As Tree crossed his arms to think, Bottle walked up to Tree. Tree knew she was trying to sneak past him, but she kept stumbling over herself and not being so stealthy.
Tree asked, raising a brow, "Need something?" It surprised Bottle that Tree didn't look at her because he already knew she made her presence known to him immediately. Her enthusiastic tone continued as always. "Nope! I was wondering why you suddenly had a silent disposition." Tree continued to have a downward gaze while stating, "Well.. I've had these feelings for someone... someone truly special to me... But I find it hard to approach to tell him..."
Bottle smiled brightly. "Well... Just tell him! He might have the same feelings for you and if not... oh well, there are always other people out there!" "Ok... I appreciate you're tryna help but this isn't helping me..." Tree turned around as he heard Pen running towards him. "Pen?" Tree asked as he watched Pen pant. "Is there something wrong?"
Pen exhales heavily. "Four said... The next challenge will begin shortly!" "Perfect! We'll be ready for this!" Tree smiled. "We haven't been through the elimination area for a while... I think the team is on the right track!" Pen cheered. Bottle gestured at Tree, telling him to make the move. "Oh uh.. Pen?" Tree asked. Then Pen replied, "Yeah Tree?"

"After these past few days... You can be an annoying nuisance sometimes... But.. I have had these.. Feel-" Pen held up his hand for Tree to stop right there. "I know what you're going to say Tree.. And I have the same feelings to you~" Pen shyly said while keeping his eyes downcast. "You get annoyed at me most of the time when I do the things you don't want me to do.. I only do that stuff to get your attention~" Pen finally looked up with a smile across his face. "I love you.. Tree.."
Tree blinked a few times, not knowing what to say. "I-I love you too Pen.." Tree got down to Pens level and to Pens surprise, Tree gave him a little kiss on the lips then backed away. "You didn't think I'll make the first move, right?" Tree chuckled as he saw Pens flustered face looking bewildered. "Uh.. I totally expected you to do that..!" Pen nervously laughed.
"I see you finally made the move Tree, nice job!" Pie gently punched his arm. "Wait... How'd you-Pie stopped him. "Me and the rest of our team already knew you love birds love each other. It wasn't really that hard to find out since you and Pen both act weird when around each other. I just put it together and wham! There's the results" Pie explained.
"You guys are cute together~ I gotta admit" Pillow smiled. "Agree agree agree!" Remote flapped her arms. Pie gasps as she saw Remotes arm flaps. "Then why don't you care?" Pie suspiciously stared at Remote while crossing her arms. "I'm beginning to think that arm flapping is not a gesture for "I don't care" Must be for something else but I'm truly not so sure.." Tree said awhile staring at Remote.
"Pfft, the past is behind us. Nobody cares about arm flapping" Pen said, getting next to Trees side. Tree rubbed Pens head a little. "Let's get back to our team base. The challenge starts in a few hours" Tree concluded then everyone walked/ran to the team base. Pen looked up at Tree then smiled. Tree looked down at Pen then smiled, having his arm around Pens shoulder. Pen did the same and put his hand on Trees back. He couldn't reach his shoulder so this was the best he could do.
