“This was one of the most delicious Indian foods I've tried for a long time. The Chicken Saag was made with fresh spinach, and it was so tasty. The Chicken Tikka was served with sauce on the side, the chicken was very well marinated and also one of our favorite dishes. We will definitely be back.”

“We ordered delivery from here for the first time, and it was delicious: better than any we've had nearby (Ruuthai is my gold standard for the area, but they don't deliver this far). The pra ram vegetables woth peanut sauce were crunchy and fresh, with a curry-tinged peanut sauce that wasn't too sweet. The summer rolls were so soft they fell apart as we were eating them, and the shrimp and vermicelli noodles inside were perfectly cooked. The pad thai had just the right amount of subtle tang, lots of scrambled egg and plentiful shrimp, and the noodles were springy and perfrctly chewy. We really look forward to ordering from here again soon.”

“My family absolutely loves this place and we look forward to each weekly visit. Best bakery in the area, no question. Rivals any we’ve visited in the USA. Breads are the specialty and are excellent - the sourdough loaf and English muffins are weekly staples for my family. However, the pizzas and desserts/pastries are also standouts. Some dessert/pastry favorites of ours are the banana bread, croissants and cookies. The pizzas are terrific and have replaced those from local restaurants and pizzerias for my family’s Pizza Friday. If you enjoy baked goods and sourdough, can’t recommend this place enough. Rob and his team are extremely nice, appreciative of customers and passionate about baking. The passion is evident from the attention to detail and quality of ingredients that comes through in all of their products.”

Her bright spirit is exactly what any work environment needs! She truly deserves a raise, my ice cream was given to me in almost the blink of an eye with all the right portions. 10/10 will be returning to try more of the recommendations from all the delightful staff . Definitely get the brown sugar cookie dough brownie! The flavors are impeccable and will leave you wanting more. Jahniya sure has the right taste buds for ice cream!”

“I’ve always been curious to try Gregorys Coffee, so we visited our closest location at Darien Commons! It’s such a nice place, and I could definitely see myself doing work here or even reading a book. We ordered their new refreshers and they were awesome!! I’m notoriously picky when it comes to drinks like this, and the strawberry hibiscus one is the first one I’ve ever really enjoyed!! These are a perfect pick-me-up with the warmer weather. The staff made the drinks very quickly too. I’ll definitely be back for more!”

We tried something unique—salad served right on pizza dough, a hit in my book. But the real game-changer was the classic hot oil pizza. Now I see why this new spot is quickly gaining a loyal following. I'm definitely on board.”

“While this is an Asian fusion restaurant that covers staples from several countries I have to say I had some excellent sushi there last night. I ordered the yellowtail jalapeno appetizer and had toro and raw scallop sashimi which they torched and smoked. It was all excellent. They also offered an omakase menu which I will be sure to try next time. Very impressed and wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared and seasoned. Will be going back - a lot!”

“Got some take out for my girl here. Classic general sue chicken . A local shop that is good for the neighborhood. If you ask for extra fortune cookies they don’t even charge you which is nice because I will save them for my daughter as a snack because they are healthy instead of regular cookies. Make sure you get the combo meal as well it is cheaper than ordering chicken and fried rice on the side”

“Lil bar. It’s a place they no your name. I have gone a few times not a hang out for me because too many cops in Darien after you have drinks. Never know who you can find here or what they will be up to?”

“When they do it right a lot of their baked goods can be pretty good but sadly they are often over baked and dry. They have struggled to keep consistent staff and several of the new staff don't seem to listen to your order. Sandy is amazing, friendly and courteous. I will often let other people go ahead just to ensure she is the one helping me.”
